This is the first free version of the award winning language delphi. The personal edition has 85 resusable components like progress bars, T-charts etc. It has the same compiler , IDE etc as the Enterprise edition. You will have to register at the Borland website inorder to activate the download. Upon registering click the link 'Send me product activation keys' and follow the instructions.

This is a 15 minute 3d animation written in C++ with music and sound effects included. You will need directx 8 to run it though. I have added it because I was blown away by the fact that someone could make something like this in C++ and yet keep the file size at 63.5 KB. This is not exactly a program but due to lack of a better category it has made its way here. It is basically one of the best documented references on the Win32 API. It is a compiled help file which makes it really easy to find information on just about any API present. It comes with associated source code examples which are in C++. However the examples can be easily ported onto other programming languages.

Sysinfo is a small utility written in Delphi 5 which retrieves information about the system it is run on. It shows windows uptime, free space on the logical disk drives, the computer name, the name under which windows is registered, the free and total system RAM among other things.

This a really comapct program which allows you to choose DLL or EXE files from which to extract icons. These icons have a .ICO extension which can be used as icons for your own programs or as folder shortcuts and so on.
